How a Portrait Session Works
Sessions run for 60 minutes. That gives enough time to get the group settled, take a mix of posed and candid shots, and not feel rushed. I work with natural light and real moments rather than directing everyone into stiff group poses.
If you’ve got young kids who won’t sit still, or family members who hate having their photo taken, that’s fine. It comes with the territory, and I know how to work with it.
You pick the location. Popular choices in the Sutherland Shire include foreshore areas, bushland settings, and beaches. If you’re not sure, I’m happy to make a suggestion.
Portrait Session Pricing
From $250 for a 60-minute session, including 20–30 professionally edited, high-resolution images for up to 5 people. An additional $20 per person for groups larger than 5, which includes approximately 15 extra images per person. Images are delivered within 21 days via a secure online gallery.

What’s Included

Can we choose our own location?
Yes. You can pick a location that means something to your family, or I can suggest a few options in the Sutherland Shire.
What if we have young children?
Completely normal. I work with what’s happening on the day. Candid shots with kids running around often turn out to be the best ones.
Do we receive high-resolution files?
Yes. All images are professionally edited and delivered in high resolution, ready to print, frame, or share.
Can you accommodate large or extended family groups?
Yes. I photograph groups of all sizes. Many families also book when relatives are visiting from interstate or overseas as it’s a great way to capture the occasion.
